Why bamboo?
Because your underwear shouldn’t make you sweat, itch, or feel like you’re wrapped in plastic. Bamboo is very soft, breathable, and naturally moisture-wicking. It literally feels like you are not wearing anything. Its also one of the stretchiest materials, which easily adjusts to your body changes (bloating, weight gain etc.)
Are STEINY products good for sensitive skin?
Yes! Bamboo is hypoallergenic and naturally antibacterial, making it a great choice for those with sensitive skin or allergies. No weird synthetics here. Just fabric that feels good at all times.
Will the fabric go see-through over time?
Nope. All of our underwear is double-layered. Meaning, it has two fabric layers all over, making it very durable and resistant to any wear and tear.
Is the underwear suitable for sports?
Yes! Bamboo is naturally antibacterial and moisture-wicking. Its great for sports or any active activity during the day. It keeps you fresher, drier, and less “oh god, I need to change” throughout the day.
Can I wear them during my period?
You can of course wear them during your period, but it is not a period underwear. So you would still need to use other period products for support. Should we also make period underwear? Let us know!
Where are the products made?
All of our products are designed and made in Europe.
Sizing & fit
How do I know my size?
We’ve got a size guide here and on every product page. If you’re between sizes, go up for comfort — bamboo has natural stretch, so it’ll hug you without squeezing the life out of you.
Will the underwear stretch out?
It stretches to fit your body but doesn’t bag out or sag. The blend of bamboo and a touch of elastane ensures a supportive, flexible fit that keeps its shape wash after wash.
Does the underwear fit for different body shapes and sizes?
Yes. Our designs are tested on real women with real bodies - not just one “perfect” fit model.
We have even tested our underwear with pregnant mommas, this is what they have said: "It holds perfectly on all sides, doesn't roll or sag. I'm very satisfied. They stay on perfectly and I've never had to pull them up or adjust them. Other panties with elastics are now chafing on my stomach, but your underwear is perfect."
Care & washing
What is the best way to wash the underwear?
Wash them with 30-40 degrees with similar colors. We don't recommend tumble drying, but nothing crazy will happen even if you do. We have battled tested them with different tumble drying programs and they still last a long time.
Can I tumble dry them?
Sure, but low heat only. High heat is basically underwear murder.
Do they shrink?
Not if you treat them right. Stick to cooler washes and they’ll stay true to size.
Do I need to hand wash them?
No, unless you really want to. Machine wash is totally fine. Just avoid harsh cycles.
Orders & shipping
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Germany and Denmark. More countries will be unlocked soon :)
What delivery options do you offer?
We offer two different shipping methods depending on your destination country.
- Shipping via DPD parcel machine or pickup point to Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
- Shipping via courier to all other destinations.
You have the option to choose the delivery method at checkout.
How fast will my order arrive?
All orders will be dispatched within 1-2 business days after placing the order, excl. holidays, weekends and SALE periods. Delivery time includes only weekdays.
In Estonia, parcels will normally arrive within 1-3 working days. Outside Estonia, goods are usually delivered within 3-11 working days.
Can I track my order?
You will receive a parcel tracking code to your email once the order has been shipped. If you don't receive the tracking code, feel free to write to us at hello@steiny.eu for tracking information.
Can I return my order?
Underwear is personal. For hygiene reasons, we can only take returns if it’s unworn, unwashed, and in original packaging. However, if something arrives faulty or in a wrong size, we’ll fix it - no questions asked. Read more about our return policy here.
Can I exchange my order for a different size?
Currently we do not offer size exchanges on the same product or for another product of equivalent price. If you wish to exchange your product, please return the unsuitable product and place a new order on our website.
Other questions
Will the underwear stay soft after washing?
We have actually put this up for a test - STEINY underwear gets even softer over time. Since its made of natural bamboo fibers, it gradually gets even softer.
Are you dropping more styles or colors?

Will you make matching bras or tops?
Absolutely! We are working on some really cute and comfortable pieces. We’re designing and testing what women actually want, not just what looks good on a hanger. Stay tuned.
